One Sunday a month we offer an open shooting day from 11-2 for $50 a photographer. No elevator access is provided for these sessions.

An interactive discussion led by Prof. Bee Coston (PhD and Asst. Prof. of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies at VCU) that will give you an overview on LGBTQ+ issues and terminology. Attendees can expect to come away with a better understanding of pronouns and their importance, the differences between gender and sexuality, and key ways to be inclusive of those in the queer community. No question is off limits and proceeds benefit the Virginia Anti-Violence Project.

We are so excited to get centered with Broad Tangee Moore, one half of Avail Counseling / AvailFit with Shawnrell "Dr. B" Blackwell. We will be sipping as Tangee shares an intro to mindfulness practice and takes us through a few exercises. This morning is for any and all Broads - no mindfulness or meditation experience needed or expected!

Tangee Moore, LCSW is the Lead Therapist at Avail Outpatient Counseling™ with 11 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She received her Bachelors and Masters of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her holistic and therapeutic approach encompasses the whole person including physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and environmental aspects.

Back by popular demand following our sold out March event - we're hosting a beginners weaving workshop with Kate Koconis of Little Black Sheep Studio!

In this workshop you will learn how to weave a tapestry on a frame loom, along with some general weaving basics - all materials will be provided!

We will focus on texture and color to generate depth and interest, using easy beginner techniques. Kate will go over each step from start to finish and you'll go home with a weaving of your own creation.

This blood drive is in honor of Amina of Call Your Girlfriend who was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. Thankfully, her doctors caught it early and she is getting top-notch medical care. Throughout her diagnosis and treatment, she has received countless blood transfusions. 

This blood drive is a way for us to show our support for Amina and patients like her. These donations will help many other people in need so let's give them lots of love!

Come on over and get an Introduction to Modern Calligraphy.  In this workshop, Natalie Kay will go over what calligraphy is and the tools you'll need to get started. Then, we will use brush pens to learn about basic stroke and the lower case alphabet. We will finish off the class by talking about finding your own style and creating a piece to take home. This class includes all the supplies you'll need to go home and practice on your own!
